More troops

I'm torn on this because I'm not sure how well a job the current troops have done. I just don't think putting more troops there will really help. Its like a clogged sink, pouring more Draino down after a full jug has already been used, probably means there's a better solution. Tell me what you think, I haven't formulated an opinion of my own so regale me.

This is for Leann. Your views are very extreme. Sure you're not advocating shooting cutting their heads off for religious differences but the war on Iraq is pretty much bullshit, especially if the only justification for it is 9/11. A couple of weeks ago the LA times published an article called "Putting 9/11 into perspective" really made me think. Here's the beginning of that article.
"IMAGINE THAT on 9/11, six hours after the assault on the twin towers and the Pentagon, terrorists had carried out a second wave of attacks on the United States, taking an additional 3,000 lives. Imagine that six hours after that, there had been yet another wave. Now imagine that the attacks had continued, every six hours, for another four years, until nearly 20 million Americans were dead. This is roughly what the Soviet Union suffered during World War II, and contemplating these numbers may help put in perspective what the United States has so far experienced during the war against terrorism."
